Day 28 - Sunshine
I had to leave work early to deal with a sick child. The daycare gave me a list of problems all of which seemed fine by the time we got home. Figures. Since I was home the animals had a chance to enjoy the afternoon sunshine. Bella, the dalmatian, whines until you put a pillow in the sun for her. I swear she's at least 35% cat. Spike, the cat, also enjoyed the sunshine. These two are enemies but the sunshine was worth making peace for.
Day 27 - Miss #4?
Another miss on this day. I think it was miss #4. I thought about it when I was laying in bed but it wasn't important enough to get up for. Sorry guys.

Day 26 - Something old, my wood floor
One of the things I love about this house is the origional refinished pine floors in the kitchen and two of the bedrooms. They are irreplacable. The boards are super wide, I included the hotwheels car to show the scale. Even better they are very forgiving when it comes to dirt. Not that my floors are ever dirty. Ha!

The challenge this week was something old. This one just happens to be wooden too.

Day 24 - FarmVille
Day 23 - Natural light
I was running around the house getting everyone ready for hockey when I noticed the sunlight shining on my bouquet. I had to take a moment to snap a shot. I always thought natural light took a better picture but I don't think it did in this case. The gerber daisy is washed out. Once again I need to learn more about photography.
Day 22 - Playing with my camera
My MIL and SIL brought a beautiful bouquet to celebrate our announcement. I played around with manual settings on my Rebel. The best shots were taken on auto. What did I learn? I need to learn more about my camera. Any advice on how?
These were taken with the flash as it was already dark when they brought the bouquet.
