Day 134 - Thomas

Christopher loves Thomas. I think it's the only thing that he loves that his brother doesn't. We are taking him to A Day Out With Thomas for his birthday. We will all take a ride on a real train which looks like Thomas. Christopher is super excited and talks about it nearly every day. He also thinks every train track we cross is for Thomas. Silly guy.

Day 133 - Christopher

And a cheesy smile from my camera hog.

Day 132 - Finished project

A lego firetruck!

Day 131b - Lego

Jeremy's birthday is coming up shortly and he was given some gifts on Mother's Day. This one is Daddy realizing Lego is way more complicated than he remembers.

Day 131 - Mother's Day

I didn't even think to get my picture taken with my boys. Oops. Instead I was the one taking pictures. This one is of my nephew. He was taking notes. Another year or two and he'll be right in there with the craziness of his bigger cousins.

Day 129, 130 - Misses

Because I'm getting so good at it.

Day 128 - Ants

DH and a colony of ants have been waging war. The ants think the kitchen is a great food source. DH is "this close" to calling an exterminator. If it wasn't for my disapproval he already would have.

Do you know how difficult it is to take a picture of an ant? The buggers move quickly!

Day 123, 124, 125, 126, 127 - Misses

I HATE working the 10-6 shift. It throws everything off and completely exausts me.

Day 122 - Nap Time

This is what I want to do everyday at work at 2 pm, and 10:30 am, and 7:10 am and 11:00 and... Okay most of the time. It's probably a good thing we don't have a comfy couch, pillow and blankies. We'd fight over them and I'm fairly certain there'd be blood. :p

Day 121 - Workers

Here are Jeremy and Christopher taking credit for the disappearing dirt pile. Notice how their shovels are empty? And clean they are? Opa's lawn tractor with bucket is the actual thing that can take the credit for moving the dirt.

Day 120 - 26w0d

Another picture of my pregnant belly. I'm 26 weeks exactly in this picture. That's a cat's tail by my feet.

Day 119 - Proof

Someday this picture will be proof that Jeremy actually liked vaccuming.

While Jeremy was vaccuming Christopher was "helping" his father build a raised bed for a vegetable garden.

Day 118 - Broken. Again.

I mentioned last week that our washing machine was broken. It was repaired, under warranty. Yeah! 3 loads later? Broken again. Gah!

Day 117 - Helpers

Scott brought some wood home (it's never to early to get ready for winter) and had to wheel barrow it across the yard. Christopher was his official helper, following him pushing a toy lawn mower and being very serious about the whole thing. Jeremy on the other hand? Off playing soccer.

Day 116 - Cat bed?

Our 10 month old washing machine broke, with a full load of dripping wet whites in it, on a rainy day. I hung the whites on the porch as they were far to wet to put in the dryer or dry inside. Before I got them in the house Mr Spike decided they'd make a good place to sleep. Apparently he didn't want a picture taken as he jumped off as I was taking it.

Day 115c - Dirt Pile

We had a photo filled day on Day 115. We had two piles of dirt delivered. Jeremy's immediate reaction was to try to ride his bike up them. He was unsuccessful but he gave it a good try. Christopher decided watching from the sidelines was a much better idea.

Day 115b - Super Jeremy and...

Super Jeremy...

and his side kick Super Christopher...

To infinity and beyond!

Day 115a - When life gives you lemons...

Make lemonaid!

Day 114 - How Big is the Baby?

Jeremy frequently asks me how big the baby is. He measures with his fingers and I correct him based on my best educated guess. I think baby is actually smaller than he indicates in this picture but it's cute anyway.

Day 113 - Hoe 1, Weeds 0

The weeds were winning until I played my secret weapon, my beet (garden) hoe. Now the question is what the heck should I plant here? (After the window gets finished).

Day 112 - Spring flowers

When you move into a new to you but not new house you never know what spring flowers will be lurking benieth the surface until your first spring. These popped up beside our laneway. Purple, my favourite.

Day 111 - A Good Hoe

I have been on the hunt for a good hoe since we moved. A garden hoe. I've been looking for a tobacco hoe with no luck. My Mom bought me this beet hoe which is similar but not quite what I wanted. DH finds it hilarious that my Mom bought me a beaten hoe and our house has been filled with laughter for a week. He's obviously still young at heart.

Day 110 - It begins

Look closely at this picture, very closely. Do you know what this means? Grass cutting season has begun. (It's grass clipping stuck to DH's fleece).

Day 109 - 24w3d

I have heard several times now how I look bigger than 24w3d (5.5 months). My midwife says I'm measuring exactly as I should be. Whatcha think?

Day 108 - Etsy photo

I think I may be finally getting the hang of my camera/photo box although I'm still not 100% happy. I think I need more light. Ideas?

Check out my Etsy shop at http://AngelaSpots.etsy.com

Day 105, 106, 107 - Miss, miss, miss

What more can I say?

Day 104 - Catnip

Spike finally discovered catnip. In this picture I can't help but wonder what he's thinking.

Day 103 - Trains

Christopher LOVES Thomas. They always enjoy a good game of playing with their wooden train sets. I've never bought them a train table, as I figure it's way more fun to make giant tracks on the floor.

Day 102 - Surprise Boquet

I must have been home from work for at least an hour before I noticed this boquet hiding amungst the clutter on our dining room table. Who did I immediatly credit? My Mom. I was right. My Grandfather's wife insisted she bring a whole bucket full home and she shared them with me. So nice!

Day 101 - Taking Notes

This picture is of my nephew watching my two crazy boys ride their bikes, see picture #2 (Christopher had a helper to push him up the hill). My nephew was taking notes. Next year he'll be right there with them.

Day 100 - Easter Bonnet

Christopher sporting his "Easter Bonnet" on a sunny day while in his carseat.

Jeremy also has a matchy, matchy "Easter Bonnet" but thinks this cap is much cooler.

Day 99 - Matchy Matchy

Everynight before bed, without being asked, Jeremy chooses and layes out clothing for the next day for both him and his brother. His favourite things to wear are "matchy, matchy" shirts, but only if they are going to daycare together. Here is one of their matchy, matchy outfits.

Day 98 - Grackle and the bat story

I have never been fond of Grackles (this type of bird). I blame them for giving me a phobia of bats. Yes there's a story. As a child I went bounding into my room which startled a grackle which was sitting on my curtain rod. The only way out was above my head and out he flew, which terrified me. I saw a black flying thing and have been afriad of bats ever since.

Day 97 - Bella's Shower

Bella got herself into way too much mud and ended up in the shower to clean-up. Gotta luv spring. Even with this out of focus picture you can tell how "thrilled" she is. Dalmatians hate water.

Day 96 - Miss

I took way too many pictures the day before.

Day 95c - Fire

Do you know when you're driving in the country and see smoke in the distance and wonder where it's coming from. This smoke looked like it was coming from my brother or parents places (they have side by side farms). The closer we got the more worried I became. It turns out their next door neighbour had a feild of corn stalks accidentally light on fire. It threatened to burn the woodlot and 3 volunteer fire departments were called in, on Easter Sunday afternoon, to help. Thankfully the woodlot was saved, no one and no buildings were damaged.

Day 95b - Two Family Pictures

I wonder who Jeremy gets his cheezy smile from.

Day 95a - Easter Eggs

I'm late posting these pictures. This one from Easter Morning when the boys decorated eggs.

Day 94b - Playground equipment

The playground equipment wasn't nearly as cool as Scott and I remember, but the boys had fun still wearing helmets from their bike ride).

Day 94a - The park

Today we took the boys into town to find a park and a place for them to ride their bikes. We ended up at Jeremy's school. The same school both Scott attended for elementary school. Check out the blur in this action shot. I think Christopher was preparing for impact.

Day 91, 92 & 93. Miss, miss, miss

I think I'm loosing steam.

Day 90 - Clean

See how nice and clean our fireplace is? DH spring cleaned it, he thinks spring is finally here. Beside we ran out of wood. :p

Day 89 - Bubbles

I didn't realize how difficult it would be to take pictures, hold the solution AND blow bubbles at the same time. This was the best of the few pictures I managed to capture.

Day 87 - Hunter

I don't know if you can tell but in the bottom right of this picture Spike is hiding amungst the house plants. In the top left there is a robin singing away happily outside, high in a tree. Spike was convinced he was going to catch that bird. Silly cat.

Day 86 - Miss

Our cross border shopping trip totally wiped me out and I didn't think to take a picture this day. Oops.

Day 85 - Smoking? Really?

We were cross border shopping today. We went to Chili's for supper. YUM! I must say I was totally shocked to sit at the bar beside someone who was smoking. Brought back memories bar hopping during university. I didn't even realize you could still smoke in resteraunts in Michigan. YUCK!

No pics. Just a stolen image.

Day 84 - Tomorrow...

...We are planning to be terrible Canadians and do some cross boarder shopping, sans children. Wish us luck.

Day 83 - Two boys and a hill

The boys were outside playing and what game did they come up with? Lets ride our bikes down the hill. They came up with the idea all by themselves.

Day 82 - Project

Jeremy's first school project was to make a wind powered boat. This is what he and his Dad came up with. I can't decide which pic I like better and I had to include the one where he doesn't have the typical ridiculously cheezy smile.
